Second
of the Margaret
Rutherford-Miss Marple movies is an adaptation of
Agatha Christieís After the Funeral, with Marple
investigating the demise of a man scared to death by
a pussycat. Suspicious, huh?
Shot around the village of Denham,
on the A4020, northwest of Uxbridge; at Aldenham, to
the northeast of Watford.
Miss Marple discovers the murder at Hilfield
Castle, Hilfield Lane, just off the A41 north
of Bushey in Hertfordshire (seen as 'Castle Quilty'
in Stanley Kubrickís
1962 film of Lolita).
