Much of the film is confined to one room, but the flights of fancy concocted by the couple are filmed on location around Paris.
Benson and Simpson dine on the terrace of the
Chalet de la Grande Cascade by the Second
Empire artificial waterfall near the Longchamp Crossroads
in the Bois de Boulogne.
Itís a very glitzy restaurant, and if you donít have
a car itís quite a schlep (metro: Ranelagh) along
Route de líHippodrome.
Three years later, but a whole cultural world away,
the Grande Cascade featured in Luis
Buñuel's Belle
de Jour.
