Wealthy playwright Myra Hudson (Joan Crawford) discovers that new hubby Lester Blaine (Jack Palance) is planning to bump her off in this neat suspenser made in San Francisco. Crawfordís home is 2800 Scott Street.

Fleeing the homicidal Blaine, Hudson makes her way across town to the Tamalpais Building, 1201 Greenwich Street at Hyde Street in the Russian Hill district. The 1920s highrise had previously featured in the 1947 noir Dark Passage and in George of the Jungle.
