For the sequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien, director James Cameron’s penchant for industrial locations (see The Abyss and the Terminator movies) takes him from Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, to the cavernous disused Acton Lane Power Station on Acton Lane, London W3, where much of the film was shot.
