Trivia
If you’ve not seen it, try John Carpenter’s 1979 The Fog instead, filmed around the misty coast of Northern California.
Rupert Wainwright’s much-reviled 2005 remake of John Carpenter’s neat little 1979 chiller The Fog was filmed on Bowen Island, Vancouver, in British Columbia, where Snug Cove became ‘Antonio Bay’, and the cemetery was built in Crippen Park.
Bowen Island proved such a lucky spot for remakes that Neil LaBute chose it as the ideal spot for his remake of another cult classic, The Wicker Man. Oops.
