I had so many complaints that this popular musical was not included, I need to put a page of explanation. Oliver! was filmed entirely on stage sets, so there are no locations.
The ‘London’ streets – yes, even the steam railway – were built on soundstages at Shepperton Studios, Shepperton in southwest London.
Despite what you may have read, the crescent used for Who Will Buy? can't be found in London, nor is it the Royal Crescent, Bath. It was built from scratch, from designs by by Production Designer John Box, on the Shepperton backlot, cleverly incorporating a small group of mature trees to anchor the set into the landscape.
