The Sixth Sense film location: the home of Cole Sear: St Alban’s Place, Philadelphia
M Night Shyamalan’s tricksy supernatural thriller, which turned out to be one of the year’s unexpected smash hits, was shot around Philadelphia. You can find the garden street where young Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) and his mother live southwest of the city at 2302 St Alban’s Place, St Alban’s Street at 23rd Street.
The more upmarket ‘Locust Street’ home of psychologist Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) is really on Delancey Street in the, solidly respectable, Society Hill district.
The Sixth Sense film location: troubled Cole retreats to the church: St Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 4th Street, Philadelphia
The church to which haunted Cole retreats is St Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 4th Street at New Street, near the entrance to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
The Sixth Sense film location: Crowe joins his wife at the upmarket restaurant: Striped Bass, Walnut Street, Philadelphia
The restaurant, where Crowe keeps an appointment with his wife, Anna (Olivia Williams), is the classy Striped Bass, 1500 Walnut Street, occupying the marble grandeur of a former brokerage house in the centre of town. The restaurant recently closed.
