apologies for another pic of Monument
Valley. Wayne's best role, and possibly Ford's best picture, took in
a load of locations around the southwest and even filmed a sequence
in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. Nominally set in 'Texas, 1868',
the abiding image is nevertheless the vivid red landscape of Monument
Valley. The spectacular columns, where Ethan finally catches up
with Scar, are the Twelve Dancers. |
