Hear My Song location: the ‘Liverpool’ club: Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin
The ‘Liverpool’ club is Dublin’s Merrion Hall, now the Davenport Hotel, Merrion Square.
The cliff, over which which Micky O'Neill (Adrian Dunbar) is dangled, is at Howth, north of Dublin. Filming also took place at the Cliffs of Moher, south of Galway on the Atlantic coast of County Clare, which you might have seen in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
The tower, where O'Neill goes drinking with singer Josef Locke (Ned Beatty) is O’Brien’s Tower near the Cliffs of Moher.
