Breezily enjoyable teen comedy drama, with Christian Slater as nerdy schoolkid Mark Hunter moonlighting as subversive DJ Happy Harry Hard-on, stirring up insurrection in the fictitious dullsville town of ‘Paradise Hills, Arizona’.
The town is actually Saugus, a neighbourhood of Santa Clarita north of Los Angeles, off I-5 east of Valencia. Behind all the ‘HHH’ logos of ‘Hubert H Humphrey High School’ is Saugus High School, 21900 West Centurion Way, Saugus.
