Tron | 1982

Tron filming location: Culver Boulevard, Culver City, Los Angeles
Tron location: 'Flynn's Arcade': Culver Boulevard, Culver City, Los Angeles

Much of the film was shot at the Walt Disney Studios, 500 South Buena Vista Street, Burbank in the San Fernando Valley. The cast was shot against black screens and the digital visuals added later.

The building featured as ‘Flynn's Arcade’ is now "rustic chic" restaurant Akasha, in the historic Hull Building, 9543 Culver Boulevard at the northwest corner of Washington Boulevard and Watseka Avenue in Culver City. Despite appearances, TRON: Legacy was filmed at the Canada Motion Picture Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, where the Hull Building and a section of the street were carefully reproduced on a soundstage.

The exterior of the ‘ENCOM’ building is the AT&T Building, 1150 South Olive Street, downtown Los Angeles.

The interior of the ‘ENCOM’ lab is that of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory7000 East Avenue, Livermore, about 50 miles east of San Francisco, California. More recently, the laboratory stood in as the 'Warp Core' of USS Enterprise in 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness.
