There are no ticket barriers at stations – Vienna works on an honesty system – don't cheat, there are sometimes spot checks.

There are plenty of options – one, two or three day passes, weekly and monthly tickets, along with the Vienna Pass, which also offers reductions on selected tourist attractions.
