The series finally winds up. Shot back-to-back with Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1, the two films obviously share many of the same locations.
‘Shell Cottage’ was built among the Dunes on Freshwater West, on the B4319, about seven miles west of Pembroke in Pembrokeshire, South Wales.
The entrance to the bridge to Hogwarts, defended by Neville Longbottom, was built at Swinley Forest, just south of Bracknell, Berkshire.
It’s back to the beginning for the film’s epilogue, 19 years later, as a new generation heads to Platform 9 3/4 on King’s Cross Station, but despite the stations extensive renovation, it’s still the florid Victorian Gothic exterior of St Pancras International that’s seen.
